Is this a big deal? Seems like I could get premature wear on the clip liners with the clamp in this orientation. Looks like its riveted on and thus not adjustable?

Also, one of the bushings was not pressed in fully. Where can I press without damaging the bushing - only the outer ring?

A block of wood and a dead-blow hammer should "adjust" the spring clip just fine. As for the bushing, you could try the same method, just turn the leafs on their side and putting a block of wood underneath as a cushion. Or, you could take it to a shop and have it pressed. If in doubt, contact OME for guidance. Good luck, as I have my set waiting in my garage for some free time to install.

Thx for the reply. I tried adjusting with a regular hammer and hard piece of plastic, but the spring wasn't secured to anything and the force didn't transfer well. May have to wait until it's installed on the truck to try it again. The more I look at it though, the more I think it won't hurt anything the way it is. The wear clip liners have some slop in them and still conform to the spring sides pretty well. I'm thinking I'll run it as it and check it periodically to see how the wear is.

I just finished using my bench vice to press in the bushing via the outer sleeve - worked great.

Nothing to worry about. Leaf's will twist under flex as well, just tap them back straight with a deadblow.

I actually have removed those bolts on the clamps to get more droop out of the packs.
