I own a 3rd gen. I just saw a 4th gen in a purpleish color. I gotta say the truck is absolutely gorgeous. It seemed so much bigger than my 3rd gen. I had to let it pass me to make sure it wasn't a Tundra. I'm really rooting for this Tacoma. I'm just holding out till any bs issues are fixed..

I agree with this…they look really nice in person and I always mistake them for Tundras.

Someone at my work has one, looks good.
I'm not holding my breath for issues to get worked out anytime soon but if a few years go by without anything major going on, i could get interested.

Can't say I've mistaken any for a Tundra. But I'm actually shocked at how few I've seen in the wild in my area. I feel like I saw a ton of new Colorados when they came out last year. Then again my area tends to be more Big 3 heavy than Tacoma heavy.

But I digress. Yes they are gorgeous. But I don't think I'll be trading in my 2017 for one any time soon. I'll likely go full size when that sad day comes.

There’s a white one sitting at a dealership I pass by on the way home from work. Been there ar least 3 weeks now . I’m not interested enough to stop and walk up to it. Mostly unimpressed from 100’ away.

Saw 2 on the way home today. One was a Trailhunter. I pulled up next to him at a red light and we talked for a minute. It was a prototype and he's had it since November. Says he loves it! It was a good looking truck.

It definitely feels bigger and taller. One of my favorite things about it is the near perfect factory stance, in my opinion no lift needed for a short bed, at least for cosmetic reasons.

I saw a bunch in Kauai. Barely any here in the Bay Area. The SR Xtracab looks good.

They look like Tundra's because they basically are, but with a smushed in/smaller cab.

I saw my first Gen 4 in the wild today, I was thinking that seeing how it’s the middle of June I should have seen a bunch of them by now.

Yep, I have seen way more EV Hummers and Cybertrucks in the wild than I have 4th gens (total 4th gens seen 1 - last weekend).

Not too many 4gs out in the wild around here. I’ve only been seeing white utility trim models decked out in company vinyl graphics haha

My opinion The front looks good the back not so much . The interior is bigger but to much going on inside . Haven’t seen to many on the road because they are way to expensive and people don’t want a 4cyl.

They're headed your way. I have seen about 10-12 in the wild now. I think the number of spotted 4th gens has almost doubled in the last 2 weeks. I even saw one hauling a couch out of Costco.

1 sport, and a bunch on SR5's and OR's is what I have seen. Did see my first Bronze Oxide Tuesday, looked good in that color. Otherwise, white, silver and black mostly. Solar Octane as well.

Other than the ones sitting at dealers, I saw my first one on the road the other day. Plain Jane silver one. Less than impressive looking.:notsure:

It's just so ugly and overpriced and underpowered you had to join it's forum?

I think all these "unimpressed" people are hilarious.

If you're so unimpressed, then why are you here?

It's ok to want one. This is a safe space to talk about it.
