    Nah dealers will continue to sell 2023 Tacomas in the meantime. This dealer in WA has 30 of them on the lot:

    Being in the PNW just over the border in Canada I was watching his content too. It's been interesting seeing the inventory levels in his area. This particular dealership seemed to be overpriced on new and used maybe reflecting in their swollen inventory of 3rd gens just sitting there. Also, one YT watcher commented in the comment section saying folks can just head to Oregon and and save the sales tax.

    I dunno but that was a lot of new and used 3rd gens for sale. Granted you are limited in colors and trims. Seems Complete opposite of the days when most units were pre-sold and there wasn't much physically on the lots. Maybe interest rates are really starting to bite? Maybe Toyota will offer steeper incentives for the last of the lingering 3rd gens? Maybe folks are truly waiting for the 4th gen to arrive or combination of both?

    Sorta. Tried talking her into a Suby or RAV4 as our second vehicle, I would commute in it and she would commute in the truck. Mine is 20 miles, hers is 3/4s of a mile. Good way to keep miles off the truck, save on gas, and I only would use the truck for camping/moto trips.

    She rather drive the old 1st Gen Taco though, so nice dice. At least for now.

    However, still could buy a Subaru or F250 for myself, both would work for my needs, one is over kill, the other is a little under, but either would do what I need/want it to do. Some people seem to pigeon hole their thinking believing only one type of vehicle will do. The Tacoma was the compromise vehicle between those two.

    I do! Just don’t act upon it. :)

    @shakerhood

    My dirt bike buddies, we all have different vehicles, but they all do the same job. Ironically we all paid around the same price, $40K. Not sure why OpeCity can’t comprehend why I cross shop all three. Friend with the Subaru even has the same trailer as I do.

    Yep so do I. It was the compromise vehicle. Can tow more than the Suby, better daily than a Super Duty. I still look though…

    Lmao. Sorry dude. Just leaning more this way, been that way for about a week now. But I got you if I do get it. And before I pull my allocation deposit I’ll let the TW folks know for whoever may be looking.

    First year sales are almost never as good as they could be. Toyota will no doubt be stopping the line, making upgrades, fixing glitches, etc. Next year will probably see higher numbers.

    Nothing major yet.
    There is most likely going to be a dip in car sales period. Cars aren’t selling like they were last year
