i looked at the ridgeline when i was looking at buying a truck. decided that it just wasn't truck enough for me. i mean hell, you cant even lift the thing more than level. besides low riders are for guys that cant get it up, and thats definately something i don't want to be said about me.... 6" lift is coming in my somewhat near future for my Taco:D

ok here are some key points... the ridgeline isnt a truck there is no gap between bed and cab...also ridgelines motor is transverse (side to side) and only sends power to rear wheels once front slips...there is no low range...no manual 4x4 setting....so it is in no way an elcamino (usually v8's, all rwd) inwhich you can turn an elcamino into a muscle car/truck lol also avalanche has low range and shares its drivetrain with real trucks... also i consider a avalanche a suv due to it also not having a bed-to-cab seperation...the avalanche is like a suburban with the roof hacked off and a ridge line is like a mini van with roof cut off ... personally have seen a ridge line with small boat attached not be able to make it up a boat ramp due to the computer sending some power to rear wheels then when they spin the abs kicked in ...low range or atleast a manual lock setting would have been a nice addition ...do I think there is a purpose for them ? sure.. if you dont need a truck, want better MPG,but want to be able to haul your mountain bike or whatever sure go for it....personally I like the old subaru brats (have had 5 subaru's in past) the baja is kinda a throwback but a close but no cigar thing for me(2 door baja would be pretty cool)... on a side note my gf has a ford explorer sport trac...there is a odd one..explorer=suv this has a real bed...with gap between cab and bed....hmmmm should have been ranger sport-trac

The Ridgeline makes me wanna puke:puke:You have to give Honda credit though. They make some great vehicles. My wifes CRV is unstoppable in the snow. Had to laugh this past winter when I passed a Hummer that was in 4wd and stuck on a hill.

Major Kudos to the first person to take the metrosexualmobile image above and do something really funny (and extremely derogatory) with it!

All I ever drove before my Tacoma were Honda Civic SI's and and Accord, and I remember waiting patiently for many years, for Honda to build a truck, as I planned to be the first person to buy one. Then one sunny day, I saw a picture of it in a magazine, and I actually threw up in my mouth a little bit.
From that day on, I feel that they are alot like the sun, in the fact that I can't bring myself to look directly at them.
    Just my opinion.
