Congrats! I just traded my '05 for a 2012 back in May (also went with the 6 spd).

I had some minor cosmetic damage on my old truck, and the a/c system was completely toast (shot compressor/condensor)...and even considering all that I still got what I consider to be a great trade-in price on my old Tacoma.

Just a bunch of old crap
I have the exact same thing, with differences in mods, but I'm curious what they gave you for it? Mine has some good superficial pinstriping but no body damage except for a door ding. Been thinking about upgrading to new but I'm just not sure if I want a payment again...

I almost booed you because modded Tacomas with dents and scratches are the greatest but, you went with a manual (which I regret not getting)...So, congrats. My neighbor has a 2012 and I keep trying to talk him into modding it out...Not working though. Good luck. If you get some pictures, modded or not, post it up.

Thank God for war. I paid mine off after a deployment and it's nice having that spare cash for mods.

Damn that's awesome! Was that their first offer? If so, I'm sure they were stoked to get it for that price. Might be able to squeeze out some more money if you feel like dealing with more negotiating.

Nice. I did the same an 06 for a 12. But mine was a 2.7 2wd. I was surprised how much I got also. The best thing was my a/c system was toast so I refilled before trade in and they was none the wiser.

Good Job! I just did the same thing about a month ago. Traded my 07 DC LB Sport 4x4 for a 2012 AC Sport 4x4....
They gave me a deal I couldnt refuse. 20.5k for my 07 with 78k miles and no mods. And a free 100k mile warranty. Payment only $100 more then what I was paying. Awsome! :)
