    Nice looks truck!
    Does 6MT TRD-OR comes with chrome bumper croners? My 21 OR AT has color matching bumper corner.

    I just noticed that on his first pic. I have a 22 OR MT and have the body colored bumpers. I do have the premium package on mine. I think that adds the body colored bumpers.

    I think the advanced tech gives you color matched bumpers.

    So a little bit about me.

    I’ve been into all things with an internal combustion engine my whole life. I’ve owned many different vehicles through my life which included a RB swapped 240sx, two 3000GT VR-4’s, two Eagle Talon TSi’s, a Mazda Miata, and several other cars, some of which I still own (Datsun 280ZX). It wasn’t until I got a Subaru Forester that I got my first little taste of going off the pavement with a vehicle. I’ve ridden dirt bikes since I was 4 years old, but never taken an actual vehicle off-road before.

    This lead to me selling the Subaru to a friend a few months later and buying a 1997 LC80 for not a lot of money ($3000 iirc), and this is where I kinda fell in love with Toyota. We took the 80 on several trips to max patch, hurricane creek, and wolf creek falls to camp. It was such a cool old truck, I should have never sold it… which is what I ended up doing to buy a 2007 FJC from my work. It was stock with some cheap bushwacker style flares, a smittybilt m1 bumper, some decent wheels with new terra grapplers, sliders, and lower miles. I ended up putting some 5100’s on there and running some achilles MT tires in a 285/70-17. I took this thing everywhere and never had any issues out of it besides the rust lol

    Which brings us to present day and my plans with the Taco!

    -Plans as of now-

    I will daily this truck for the years to come… so things like rooftop tents, bigger tires, and things of that nature won’t be an immediate objective. I do have a factory warranty that I plan to not mess up (too much) so my idea of perfect is as follows;

    1. sliders. Been eyeballing a few different brands and so far the caliraised step sliders are something that I keep going back to look at. If not these, then something like these.

    2. a hybrid or minimal style winch bumper. I really like the CBI covert bumper, it seems to be pretty much all I’d be asking for out of a bumper on something I’ll daily drive and use for off-road 10-15% of the time.

    3. skid plates. These I’ll play by ear and just see how things go.

    4. A camper top. I’ve decided on the Leer 100R. It would fit my needs and then some.

    that’s it as of right now. Idk if I maybe should create a build thread at some point or not because I’m terrible at updating these things, and it may be months between upgrades. I will start one if y’all would like to see it, but otherwise I’ll be on here from time to time to show you my new shiny stuff!

    Eagle Talon was a helluva car for its day. I had the joy of owning one also.
    Have a look at Westscott for sliders. I can't imagine anything made any better and their price point is great too. Made in AZ, USA.
