Yes it is a Red's bed cover. I had some trouble at first because they sent the wrong parts kit, so I made my own brackets. Because of the rail system I needed different parts. 1957 mph.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. Looked like a good cover, but some of the hardware looked like crap I could rig up after a trip to Lowes. Nothing wrong with that, but for the price he charges.... It was a couple hundred more than a BakFlip, and that seemed cheaper to make (with better hardware). Red's and BakFlip function almost identically too. Differences that I could tell were only the materials used and various hardware.

Do you have to unlatch each side as you fold it? I mean, compared to a BakFlip that has a cable connecting both sides so you just pull the cable from either side, and both latches retract so you can open that panel. I pictured having to walk one one side to the other getting each latch. So that would be around 6 trips back and forth to open all 3 panels. Unless I'm missing something. I really looked at getting that cover, but Red never really answer my questions when I emailed them.

Hi I just now saw your reply. The bed cover has a rod and lever system that has a lever on the drivers side so you just reach in from the drivers side and work your way forward till you reach the cab. This cover is only about 4 inches thick when up against the cab. Sorry about the slow answer. 1957mph.

That's ok! He must have changed it. From the pics I saw it looked like 2 lock pins on each panel so you had to get in the bed and grab each pin as you lifted sections, or walk around the truck to pull each one before flipping over a panel. Seemed like a pain in the ass to me. What you're describing sounds better.
