So, I know that the TacomaBeast name strikes a certain anger in many people here...but doggone it, they were giving away a pretty nicely built Tacoma and I entered to win it, bought a t-shirt and a multi-tool for some entries into the contest.

The contest ended and I waited for the announcement like little Ralphie waited for the secret decoder ring to be delivered. Then, the day came...they announced the winner! A dude from my state nonetheless. They tagged his profile on the IG and I (naturally) checked it out. Turns out, the dude lives in MY town of Clarksville, TN!!! Now I gotta see that truck, the truck I wanted to win, driving around the streets here. Good thing is, based on his IG posts, he does a lot of stuff outdoors, so it won't be a Mall Crawler, he's gonna use it for it's intended purposes.

Just wanted to get that off of my chest, carry on.

Don’t hate on the mall crawler. :)
I question people’s sanity if they buy a 50k truck to climb rocks. Get a 2005 model and build it to do that…unless 50k is chump change to you.
    Just my humble opinion.

No harm intended. But this particular truck wasn't built to climb rocks, it was built to be a bit more sufficient when being out in the 'wild' per say. Rather than having all of that equipment on a truck to NOT use it and have it parked outside the local REI (which we don't have here in town) all of the time. That's all I meant.

You should scratch your name into the door, isn't that what kids do these days?

22 year old in Clarksvegas is probably with Uncle Sam’s Army so if he’s smart should use USAA and probably having to drive to Fort Campbell, KY. At least he ain’t paying 40% APR getting ripped off by the local used car stealership.
