Just got done doing a little detail on my taco... washed and waxed it. Shes got her shine back. How often should you wax your vehicle? This is a 2008 I just bought used so not sure when it was done last....

What kind of wax do you use?? I used the liquid turtle wax and it worked good... no white residue and went on and came off smooth....

Also, do you think I should de badge it?? Im really thinking it would look a lot cleaner?? Any feedback?? Also what do you use to get the residue off??

3M makes a product to get all the left over residue off or another one is called "goo gone" they both work good.

I would say you should wax your truck at least a few times a year. I have a white Tacoma and have yet to wax it since I bought it brand new in 2006. It sits in the garage 80% of the time so I dont worry about it to much. But Black vehicles look awesome after a nice wash-n-wax!!! I'm sure that Turtle Wax you used should do just fine.;)

But I think you should def debadge your truck!! That or paint the badges black but since your truck is already black, I think it would look the cleanest if it was just debadged. I used goo gone to get rid of the residue when I first took them off and it worked just fine.:)

Definitely debadge it. Alcohol or goo gone will remove the residue.
