    hey guys just joined up here, bought a 16 sport auto and was wondering if there was any recalls or updates i should take it in Toyota for? still under factory power train warranty.. i hear from a friend that has a 18 sport there was shifting issues and throttle issues.. maby you guys can help me out. Thanks

    You can run the vin through Toyota's website for anything specific for your truck. Be sure to get the latest computer update. Most people are happy afterwards. Nothing is "wrong" with the truck. Have fun and enjoy it. Welcome!

    Factory Blackout package, Soft roll up bed cover, Cheap seat covers, Front and rear dash cam, AVS in channel vent visors
    You heard from a friend that there was issues, but the real question is, does ypur truck have issues?
    If there was a recall you would have been notified or you can look it up on Toyota owners website. If you want a TSB performed then most dealers will need to verify your truck has the issues outlined in the document.
    In the sticky threads there is one for all Tsbs, but dont read those and think you have all of them. Good luck and Welcome to TW.

    thanks no he said something about a lot of the trucks were having issues shifting or something i called Toyota and they told me nothing has ever been done to the truck.
