I just purchesed my first toyota tacoma 2000 4x4 2.4 liter 5 speed. The only problem that I have noticed is that when I get into 4th or 5th gear going up hill it starts to bounce. I don't know if it might be a tranny issue or maybe drive line or diffrential problem. also the truck has 208000 on it

    Thanks
    Jon

5100's all around, 2 inch lift, polyurethane body mounts, gibson exhaust, variation of the deckplate mod, intake resonators removed
You are in the wrong gear.

I had the same problem a while back, flushed the tranny fluid and haven't had it happen again since. Worth a try of you haven't done in a while

Might also be the clutch disk or that the flywheel needs re-surfacing.

Don't know about the clutch it feels good and tight smooth when changing gears. It might be plugs and wires I'll take a look at that also

    Thanks for the help
