Breakover sucks and it likes to get beached if I'm on a trail that's full of boulders which is really really annoying. I do like that it's nice and stable, when I was ifs the truck stuck to side hills like glue and was super stable offcamber and I didn't want to lose that.

A shorter wheelbase or raising the truck would help, but i probibly won't do either.

Hmm ok thanks for input guys. Pretty sure my suspension is actually lower than stock right now or right at stock height. It was at 19" when I bought it on bald 31s with that spacer lift in there, So with it now at 18.5" on 35s, the suspension is clearly shot. Not sure what a 2" lift will put me at since I don't know what stock height should be, but I think that's what I'll go for. Hoping around 22 inches in the front and a little rake out back, maybe that will feel sufficient on the rocks

I assumed that you had some sort of crazy expo shelf and drawer system under the cap...took a look at your build and I stand corrected. Touche' sir.

It cracks me up with guys that make first gens weigh 6000lbs and way over GWVR with all of the expo crap they add to them.

You forgot your tripod for taking pictures for the gram! You didn't actually wheel if you didn't take any pictures!

Windrock was amazing! Rode double black diamonds all day Friday with no issues, then broke a CV on a blue on Saturday. So it goes. Still a great time and met a bunch of cool guys. Now time to pic whore

Pro tip: Don't gas it at full turn on the rocks with the front locked! CV Joints don't like hanging half way outside the cup while being torqued haha

Crunchy Crunch. Wish RCV made an Ultimate CV for the first gens. Still not sure if that would stop me from going SAS eventually but would definitely delay it

We tried to run 15 on Sunday and got completely denied after walking it Friday. The rain really did a number on it

We got up to the v-notch and it was insanely slick. 2nd in 4.7 low range got me about 15 feet up before I was sliding back down to the base

They do but they are like $2,000, you can do an SAS almost cheaper than that.

    Looked like fun!

Did they discontinue it? Couldn't find one. either way, gonna try to start collecting fj60 axle parts this summer and get a plan together for steering.

But yeah, trip was great sorry you missed it. I may see you at PYS or Slade if you come to those
