There will be pics. As many as I can get doing it by myself.
Those tires aren't nearly as heavy as I imagined they'd be! That's gonna be badass. Weight was my #1 concern when looking at tires, then OR performance, then life and streetability because this thing is still a daily for now.
Hoping to get my shit mounted before I have to travel again on Wednesday

KM2 sounds like a solid option for your needs. Been an awesome tire for me.

I thought about them. I love the tread and they seem to do pretty well all around, but they were heavier than the Dick Cepek by I think 5lbs per tire, and I talked to a lot of Jeep and Cruiser guys that had issues with the sidewall on them and told me to look elsewhere. The Dick Cepeks are made by Cooper Tire now, are said to have a pretty good sidewall, should have decent on-road treadlife and have tons of grip from what I've seen. Also hoping saving on the wait will save my drivetrain in return

There is the sidewall thing, but they are so damn good otherwise. haha.

Oh, didn't realize. Guess I didn't pay enough attention at AOP. Jeep guys I talked to that ran them seemed pretty happy

Essentially. That was another factor. Also, the new owner at our local 4WP is a standup dude and offered me a solid deal on these tires because he wanted to see me squeeze 35s on my little truck :bananadance:

Said he'd offer me a good price on some axles too if I decided to SAS, but had to decline that for now

So does that mean that the guys working the sales floor won't be dicks that pay no attention to you unless you're dropping $1000+ on a heep or fullsize douchbag truck with a drop bracket lift, so we can actually buy the gear/items that we need/want locally rather than waiting a week from ordering them online?

The crew that is there currently are pretty awesome. If you need something done right and done fast, ask for Bryan. I have dealt a lot with them recently and really love our local shop. The new owner is Matt, he's only been there for a few months but he makes a point to come out and talk to me every time I'm there and actually wants to talk about how the gear will be used. He even called corporate to price match my bumper with a website that they usually won't price match with (at the sale price too!)

I have haven't been in there since 2015, but i need a new strap/want a snatch strap. Seems like i could save money on things like that by not having to pay shipping, and i can have my shit same day because I'm impatient :D

Maybe, if they carry any of the inexpensive brands for stuff like that, not sure. But they will price match anything with Amazon, so if they have it you'll get the best price.
Maybe you should invest in Amazon Prime?

Seems to only be a tall skinny problem. Don't group all KM2s in that category until you prove otherwise. I've got a whole bunch of evidence that tells me 315/75/16 sidewalls are plenty strong.
