So I purchased a jvc kw-avx830 and no sound will come out of the doors. Had some out of my sub for some reason but now I'm confused. All plugs are connected. Any suggestions?

You are powering the speakers with the head unit, and not an amp, right? Do any of the audio sources work? CD, Radio, Aux input, DVD?

You turned off the demo mode, right (I'm assuming yours has this - my slightly older version of your head unit required turning this mode off)?

I would try resetting the unit to the factory default settings if nothing else works. Then, double and triple check your wiring (speakers specifically) for a dead short or crossed wires.

Yeah wasn't paying attention but the wiring harness was wired for speakers be on an amp. So just had wire the speaker wires to the harness and worked good.
