Has anyone installed the K&N cold air intake on a 2012 4.0 Tacoma and have it kill your secondary air pump and switching valves? My truck went into limp mode and Toyota blamed the K&N intake. I didn't believe them. After getting the truck back from Toyota I put the stock intake back on it. I took the air pump and the valves apart and the amount of moisture in them was unreal. I guess by moving the secondary air pump to the front of the engine bay and turning it around backwards allows it to suck in road spray. Luckily I had purchased an extended warranty so it cost me $110, not $1600.
