K & N air filters

    Has anyone experienced the K&N air filter in very dusty conditions ??

    They recommend to clean it every 50,000 miles.
    Perhaps in normal use / 100 % paved roads...

    I checked mine today, and I had to clean it (after only 1,000 miles)
    My truck works in 80 % on unpaved and dusty roads.

    In those conditions, will my filter last 1,000,000 miles as they say ???

    I would appreciate the opinion of other Tacoma owners using that K&N filter
