If that's the case, then I'll definitely pass.

By my calculations, it would take around 2 years for me to break even IF I got a 1 mpg gain. I do plan on keeping the truck well beyond 2 years, but I certainly don't want to do anything to lose more mpgs...

You got a few things going on there:

    1) Increased tire diameter
    2) Increased tire weight
    3) Increased aerodynamic drag with the lift
    4) The increase in tire size also is throwing off your speedo a bit, so your miles traveled per tank is off a bit as well (actually, the jump from 265/65 to 265/70 basically makes the speedo dead-on, whereas it was slightly fast before)

    Thank you, Capt. Obvious.

Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. You are correct in all of those statements. When these tires wear out, I figure I'll go with the Yokohama Geolander AT next. However, I have 15k on my current General Grabber AT2 and still have 13/32 tread. Unless they get softer....I'm going to have these on there for a while.

Hence, why I'm looking to move the tires with less fuel consumption. Any/all suggestions are welcomed.
