No codes! Yep it performs like a CAI does. Pretty loud when you open it up!

I have a K&N Blackhawk and it’s probably one of my favorite mods. It’s load AF when at Full throttle and I always get asked if I have a turbo because of the hissing sound it makes. Haha

 

Do you guys notice any increased dust on the filter or wish youd have gone with a closed box? Thinking about this one

 

Honestly no to all of the above... My mpg did drop for 18mpg to 14-15mpg but, I’m not sure if it was the tire size change, the skid plate add on or the new exhaust I added since I had everything added within the same week. It does sound really good tho, almost didn’t need the upgrade exhaust.

Why are you ditching yours?

 

The wife didnt like it bc it is pretty loud in the power band,she says its rude from the passengers seat ....lol.....I loved it but happy wife happy life.I will eventually put it back on if I dont sell it or trade for something bc it did feel like it ran better with it.

 

See any difference in MPG from with vs without?

 

I think about 1.5-2 gain. I didn't think so but since taking it off I have went down.

same happened to me so I tested and now without it I am down a couple so it does help.I couldn't believe how well it stayed clean but I also never left the road with the short period mine was on. I sure am missing the punch in power it gave since I've took it off I also removed my mbrp exhaust.I did however recently pick up the ovtune and think that with all that back on it would be awesome and really shine with what it offers.
