K&N drop in vs stock air filter... what are your thoughts?

    Complete waste of money and time,factory filter is better,so why would you change it.

    I run drop in K&N's in all my cars; 50 year old dual-carbureted Euro sports car, few year old Euro performance FI coupe and the Tacoma. I don't do it for performance; I just hate to toss out air filters when I can clean and reuse.

    3 inch lift , 32's , updated grille , seat mod , camera mod ,cap w/ led inside lighting, stainless step bars, 32" light bar recessed ,ultra guage mx 1.3 ,mesa cutoms dome and maps , tw custom cupholder, OG husky liners. Need seat covers and bed rug and she is done !
    Same here . I also removed the air horn from fender and used the trd bell and removed the maf filter as well.

    Oh yea that reminds me, I ripped that charcoal secondary filter out too. Seemed like an unnecessary restriction, there for emissions or something.

    All this discussion on K&N Filters got me cleaning spare air cleaner early !!!! , it's nice and clean and will let it dry for the next few days before oiling it
