Anyone else who installed a K&N 63 Series on their 3rd Gen 3.5 Ltr get a weird, invariable "bloop, bloop" noise at idle and start up? Guessing it is some sorta' back pressure from the throttle body? K&N told me the stock intake's reservoir was designed to eliminate this sound...seem legit? Quadruple checked to make sure everything was tighted down perfectly, hose clamps, mass air sensor gasket, etc...runs like a champ via acceleration and sounds great otherwise...but...didn't have the weird sound issue per K&N on my '05 Jeep...totally different throttle body type for sure!

    Thanks for any/all input!

I just installed the 63 series intake on my 3rd gen. I'm getting these same noises. Almost like someone is plopping their hand over the end of an open tube or something. I took it back apart to make certain there wasn't a piece of cardboard or plastic wrap in the tube....but there's not. Everything is tight. There's a bit of a gurgle after shutting it down as well. Since everything is tight, I'm assuming this is just normal for this motor with these K&N intakes. Weird. I'm not 100% sure i'll keep it on there.

My last Honda made the sounds when shutting off the engine. And it had a different sound then stock when driving. I didn't notice any bloop bloop sounds at idle but kinda a hiss.

Normal. Been mentioned before up here from me and others as well. Another way to confirm is turn the ac on. Let it sit at idle and every time the compressor kicks on you'll hear it. It's when the engine goes under the initial load like when you turn and the power steering pump kicks in it sucks the air and makes the noise.
