    Hey guys!
I just bought a '01 Tacoma that has the TRD Supercharger. A friend told me I should increase the air intake to get more power and to increase the effeciency of the SuperCharger.
I'm thinking of just doing the drop in air filter. What do you think I should do between a K&N or AFE ProdryS? I don't know much about either but want to get the one that will help out the most. Pros and Cons?

    I've owned both....

I'm pretty sure the K&N allows more air flow than the AFE.

Thanks for the advice guys! Sounds like the majority vote is aFe Pro Dry S! I'm tighter on funds so I'm thinking the drop in one should do for now then maybe one day I'll upgrade to the cone air filter!

Has anybody checked out www.autoanything.com before? Is it a pretty reliable website? It looked like a decent price (like $58 I think), plus my local auto parts store didn't have the aFe Pro Dry S...nor had the young kid heard of it before.
If you know of a better place to pick one up, please let me know! Thanks!

Yeah, it's just the stock airbox with the drop in filter. It doesn't look like the airbox has been upgraded at all. A nice cone filter would be rad in the future, but that's when I get a little more $$$. haha
I'm hoping this aFe Prodry will help the SuperCharger perform a bit better.

Hopefully I attached the picture correct. Here's a picture. The aFe drop in will work right?
(looks like I need to wash my engine, geez!)

yes it will work. if i were you, i would get the afe pro dry s and do the deck plate mod. it's highly recommended on this site and its been proven to increase hp. and its only $10-$15! i've done it and love it, you can't beat it for the $$$.

I seem to remember somewhere in one of the deck plate threads that you should NOT do it if you are running a S/C? I tried searching thru some of the threads to see if I could find it, but, no luck.

    Am I remembering this correctly??
