K&N or TRD air filters. Worth it?

    Mu guess would be, after reading their marketing brochure, they have no propriety technology involved in the product they supply to the military. Or, their contractual supply agreement did not preclude them from doing so with their marketing. Doing business with the government is a unique beast, to say the least.

    Some people over oiled and did something wrong. I have k&n intake and air filter in my lancer over 100k miles. It still works fine, it never give me any problems.
