Well had to make a bit of a drive but I got one hell of a deal on some CBI bolt on sliders! These are practically brand new and flawless. Looks like I have a project this weekend :D:headbang:

Yeah I figured they would be a lot heavier. CBI list them at a whopping 200lbs on their website. These are only 61lbs each with the fill plates. I think I’ll Linex them over the weekend before I install them.

Cleaned up the sliders a bit. Little peeling of the powder coat here and there where it wasn’t treated right also some spots that are raw. I’m gonna rhino line or linex the underside tomorrow. I think the cover plates will take a lot of abuse with all the gravel roads I’m on. Time to get the sand paper out...

Put some bed liner over the powder coat and installed the sliders. Holy shit it was fast and easy. Amazing fit too! I’m happy with the 0 degree angle as well. Works perfect for a step and keeps shit off my paint job.

Put Noico sound deadener on my rear doors and added some kicker speakers. Gonna do the fronts later this week. What a project. Five hours per door... hopefully worth it!

Gonna go for the fronts tomorrow. The sound deadening REALLY takes some time eh? Hopefully worth it!

Finally finished sound deadening the doors. It was a much easier project than I expected. I might do behind the rear seats next. The truck is so quite now it’s crazy. B10AE282-AA32-414D-A417-3FDF1E4C76FA.jpg

I also picked up a new welder today. I’m gonna build a camping trailer that can hold two kayaks and my RTT.
