Just ordered my new Bilstein 6112's (& 5160's for the rear). :bananadance:

So we'll see how they run when I finally get them installed. :D

(Which will also mean that I'll have a set of 2015 TRD Off-Road shocks and springs for sale pretty soon too)

It did, but measure your truck now and that will tell you if you have the lean problem

I watched the video the one vendor posted when he got the first set. Those are a lot bigger than the 5100's

Yeah, they look pretty massive. I was on the fence between these and something like 5100's, OME, Icon, etc., but figured that I did pretty well with the 5100's on my old Jeep, and they have them on a group buy sale price at the moment, so what the hell? Might as well give them a shot.

yeah those new bilstiens look as big as the OME shocks. I have used bilstiens in the past on cars that i did track days in like my miata and GTI. They make a nice product for cars. I have never used them on any truck i have owned. I had OME on my Discovery and was always pleased with them. That being said i am curious to see these when you get them just to check them out.

Do they come with the springs for the front or is it just the shocks. Also if they do come with the springs what are your plans for the rear suspension, AAL, blocks, or a new leaf pack?

The fronts come with springs. I'm not planning on raising the rear at all, so I didn't bother with any AAL or leaf pack, just the new shocks. (at least not for now. :D)

Anyone in the group have a welder and know how to use it?
I'm looking to add 2 linear actuators to my adventure style trailer to lift the RTT rack up and down.
I really just need a few tabs welded on, I hate to got to a full on fab shop...
I'd like to get these added next week or weekend! Let meknow, thanks!

@LOUMO Yes, I measured last night and it was a full inch shorter!

(although I think I need to check my tire pressure).

So you added a 1" spacer only on your drivers side?

Its like a 1/4" spacer, thinks its 10mm. It adds about half inch i believe on the drivers side

Ok guys... Moving the date to the 17th for those that want to go. We have an 'in' with the Nick (FJ Member) at the Bellevue Rod & Gun Club for a great location to hold the meet. As of right now we can do it as a small pot luck grill out or no food. Up to everyone at this point. Check out the link and join, the better idea that we have on how many people will help with a judgement on what needs to happen! Have already been seeing a couple people join from out of state here in NE which is a plus. Going to try and locate some place to maybe get off some paved roads too, we will see on that though.

I am never really a fan of all black wheels but those look good! Are you doing the 5100's or are you gonna bring it to a shop? I am off on Wednesday so if you need a hand I have done it a few times.
