You might try Boulevard Tire & Service. I know they install lifts. I'm not sure what all they sell besides tires, but they're a great business.

    Hey guys,

I am relocating to the Kansas City area from Florida... do you guys have any recommendations/advice on moving to the area? I will be working at the University of Kansas hospital in the Overland Park area.

    Thank you

    One of those guys eh....

Ha. Uh depends what youre looking for and budget you have. Apartments are semi expensive to rent depending on the area. Houses can be found all over. Overland Park/olathe/shawnee are all good areas.

I moved here from CA close to 2 years ago, I lived in Shawnee first, then we bought a house last year in Lenexa.
Overland Park is a good area, so is Lenexa, Olathe and Shawnee.

@Justn868 welcome to the KC group. A lot of us are in the Facebook Group too: Lots of great places in KC. We moved from CA to Brookside (Kansas City, MO) before we had kids and loved it. Now with kids we're in Leawood / Prarie Village area. Lots of great neighborhoods all around. Lee's Summit on the MO side is nice as is Overland Park, KS. Olathe and Shanwnee are little further away, but are growing fast.

Any specific questions we can try to help answer?

Thanks @felttippin! I just got a place over Overland Park. Are there any decent wheeling spots around these parts?

What's up guys! Moved to KC from Colorado for a job/career at the end of November, finally getting my bearings and figured I'd hunt down the local Tacoma group. I've got an '03 access cab, I gathered a ton of parts to build an expo rig once my truck was paid off; well I paid it off and got a job offer out here so I dragged all my parts with me and currently don't have a garage to do any install work. Do you guys do build days? We had a pretty solid group back in Colorado that would get together and build, ski, mountain bike etc. If not, does anyone have a shop they recommend? Will be putting on OME coils/struts already assembled, Camburg UCAs, diff drop, new leafs/shocks, a 2" body lift and front bumper/sliders. Also have 4.88's to install but that's down the road both money and time off the road wise. Thanks!

Welcome. Most of us are down for build days. I know I don't have a problem lending a hand if I'm in town
