Nobody wants a Tercel lol unless you are in the odd group that loves cars you can’t buy shit for

 

I mean all of the interior trim from 1984 Toyotas is interchangeable

 

not exactly the tercel is an odd one you cant buy shit for it you have to look at junk yards and hope there are parts for them there and also hope it hasnt fallen apart or rusted away i have friends with them so i know what it entails to try and keep a nice one running

 

yeah but this one was chopped into a Ute and was awd. Perfect for putting a super sketchy lift on and gambling.

 

no such thing as awd lol its fwd with a rear diff engage in so its more like 4wd and i know it was keegans heap that got crushed from the drunk driver lol

 

also its really easy to lift them things i guess ive been trying to talk keegan into lifting his current wagon

 

either way, 4 wheels turn. which is more than most gamblers can say. and He ORIGINALLY said I could have it for FREE. but he changed his mind last minute and I was like no.

 

lol he was prob joking tbh but at the same time i didnt know him then i know he wanted to keep the motor that was in it but decided against it

 

I mean, if you're committing to building up an AWD Tercel, why try to restore it to factory? It'd be easier and probably cheaper and easier to strip the inside and do a spray on sound deadener or something similar.

Are you talking powertrain parts?

 

im talking everything! you want struts? nadda... you want control arms? dont think about it... you want bearings or odd and end seals?? try again.... you want a transmission?? nope go look in the junk yard...


there is so much standard stuff for these cars that you just cant get because no aftermarket was ever established with these things because they are econoshit boxes that are meant to die in the 80s

The YJ's radiator was held in its brackets for a couple years by JB Weld before I finally replaced it
