it hit at my work pretty good me and friends went out to check on cars since there was hail but all seems okay here only issue was water getting inside and a few people getting so soaked that they should have called in lol

I live in Parkville and am looking for recs for a shop in or reasonably close to the metro to do a tundra v8 swap (4.7) on my 98. Hoping someone who frequents this thread has some insights and thanks in adv for any contributions!

 

I knowwwwwwww Adventure Motors would do it, they're in Grandview now I believe. You could get a quote, but it'll probably be dummy overpriced; their target audience I imagine being like upper middle class people who go camping once a year and would pay for someone $50 to install windshield wiper blades.

I'm not knowledgeable on other shops in the area though

Helped a friend pick up this 81 Tercel hatch up this weekend and oddly enough it’s in really good shape for a Tercel drove 3 hours to get it and got 11mpg the way back at 65-70mph I had to keep slapping it into 4th before hills the auto would jump around to much

 

Manual says to tow in S4....

meh ive never towed a car and ive never towed anything where its needed to be in 4th gear constant

 

only read it once years ago and i never tow anything like this so it was an experience lol

 

plus once i wasnt in hills it was fine in D cruising without issues
