Cannot decide where I want to place my magnet mount for pistol. I was thinking driver side, side of center console near leg.

I just keep mine crammed in my pants. How's the hold with the magnet?

It says it's rated for 25lbs, but I have 2. Figure if it's struggling to maintain the hold with 1, could place the other slightly below/above each other to have double hold.

I don't like things crammed in my pants other than what's already attached. It's uncomfortable.. belts too.. I'm a regular Al Bundy when I get home..

I guess I'm old school. I have a 1911... Though I want to get something smaller/lighter for CC.

I get the 1911, first side arm I was trained with and stood watch with. If the world goes to shit or my life depends on it I'm reaching for the Glock. It has fewer moving parts and hoes bang every time clean or dirty.

Late to the game, but I'm throwing my vote in for Sig. No real justification, but I have a few and I like them. P239 as a carry piece, West German P226 and a P220 compact otherwise.

That's where the 239 and 220 come into play.

Nah and this is worse than arguing politics, I'm out. Whatever you can shoot straight and be safe with is what you should carry.
