This should be better than what you tried. Pear is fairly crisp and mild, that batch of Jonathans was less than such...

I make ciders. Need to grind/press the fruit, which is about a day-long process. Bottling is another full day when you're working by yourself. Most of the time for the latter is cleaning/sanitizing equipment

I'm old. single, and retired. I would give you a hand if you needed for a bottle or two. Plus I would learn how to do it myself.

Mostly just giving you crap, I'm sure I can spare a bottle. I make no promises about the end results, though.

Time permitting I'll be processing these pears tomorrow. Might do a blend of apples in a few weeks when they're ripe and if I still give a damn.

Primary/secondary fermentation take about a month total, though I've learned that the flavor improves if you let it age for six months to a year. That or it gets a lot worse if something went wrong. I'm still figuring things out; this is just a hobby I got into because I don't like eating pears but didn't want the fruit from my trees going to waste.

    So. Many. Stickers.
I have, got one as a gift a few years ago. They're neat, but I personally prefer having a truck bed to haul things with, hard to do when it's got a tent setup in it. Most bed tents that I've see have high tarp sides, so that's a huge bonus
