overall ford and nissan are making great trucks both have some things i dislike about each and both have things i like about each and they will be making toyota and possibly even jeep play catchup with the tech and performance in the near future

 

That's why I compared it to the Frontier S, the base model. Imo the Frontier S is now equivalent to an SR5 Trail Edition.

Agreed, although idk the 4th gen Tacos are out doing street testing. Should be interesting to see what they start teasing us with next year. Next gen Rangers are on the same schedule.

And no one knows WTF is going on with Chevy and the backasswards slide they've been on recently.

ya that makes sense to compare those but im not one to go for base models lol (i say that while owning a basically lower then base model 98 civic lol)

and ya who knows they better do something with the next gen and not just another damn color with new led headlights! give it a better engine and better mpg and better towing already! others are doing it come on toyota!

also im not use to looking for car tires im looking for a good set of all seasons for my 98 civic in a 195/55/15 size whats a good tire i guess to look at?

 

For street tires, Coopers have never done me wrong.

 

I always check out a base model, a moderate something reasonable/affordable (lol) in the middle, and then an ob obnoxious top end with all the bells and whistles.

Mine has 14

I always look at base models to see what the manufacturers are doing. Plus sometimes* it's worth it to get a bae model to build on, vs spending more up front for greater capability that won't need to be modded right away

As much as I like Orange, the orange leather in those is.... A lot.

Super freaking nice though. Pricey. My dad likes em, but wants a far darker leather tone.

My first set of Hankooks went to 70,000 miles. Just saying.

 

the odd part is they say they are only rated for 45k which i find pretty low

 

Might depend on which ones. Granted I wasn't racing or anything on mine, so that helps

 

these are just all seasons to use as a daily set so nothing to crazy with em
