Ive done a few people in the KC area with either OVT or yotawerx. I’m in northeast iowa.

You can also get a remote tuning kit and DIY which makes it easy if you ever want to switch tunes down the road.

    Hey guys

moving to Kansas City soon and need some help.

already purchased a relentless hybrid summit front and high clearance rear bumper with tire swing out.

now that I'm moving I have to find a shop in KC that can handle this install (which ofcourse includes cutting/removing factory bumpers) and tell relentless where to ship it to.

I see ALOT of shops there with good google ratings but they have pictures that include 99% lifting chevys.

gotta get this right on the first try

    advice??

    thanks

    Psssht..... Shops.

Hit up the mofos in here, bring pizza and beer, make a Saturday of it. Lot of builds in here are done sans-shop, and with great results.

just a couple of things tbh
cygnus has a valid point... nobody in here really uses shops they normally help each other out or ask for help. buy pizza/beer/sodas and you can get a bunch of guys if they are free help you setup your truck.

i say they because ive always done stuff my self or with a buddy of mine haha

I've done everything on mine that's in my wheelhouse. Easy stuff likes lights, Peragon bedcover, kb voodoo bed rack, ditch lights, solar panel etc.....

chopping the bumpers off and putting new ones on, way outside of my expertise and tool set.

would definitely take help from someone who's been there and done it.

other complication is it has to be delivered to somewhere with a forklift

i forget that 3rd gens you have to cut the front off for a winch bumper. the rear bumper ive cut my bedsides before on my old tacoma wasnt hard tbh

my front bumper i picked up at the place that the company shipped it to. my rear bumper it was suppose to be dropped off at my house but fedex legit lost it.... so i had to play hunt the bumper with them for a few weeks until it finally showed up and i just went to the fedex hub to pick it up with my dads truck

Usually two guys can replace a forklift. Or Ltl ship it to a freight center and they'll fork it into your truck (whatever you beg/borrow/steal to show up in) :D

Edit: too bad you're not nearer to STL, we've got some :sawzall: experts and have bumper installs down to a science

Where in KC are you gonna be? I'm out in Blue Springs and can lend a hand. Plus I have a new air saw to try out.

Let's say I have some experience installing Relentless armor.

A buddy and me lifted mine onto my truck. No need for a fork. 3 guys would make lifting easier.

Nice looking truck. Is one of those deal where they only ship to a business address? Some have option of residential but with an added cost.
