Did not end up going. But they loaded pictures on fb. Seems like they had a decent turnout, but mostly newer Toyotas. Several built up.

Don’t have anywhere else to post this, so here’s an update on the War Wagon:

    Front bumper/wench installed
    Icon Stage 9 installed

Still waiting on the duel-swing rear bumper and Yukon 5.29 to ship.

You gain a little travel by ditching it. You get used to the sway after driving it a while, and you can just add preload to help if it's too much for you.

The only thing that worries me about not having it is emergency lane changes. They can get a little hairy.

That said mine has been off for 18 months…

I've thought about it too and haven't done it. The roads down to float the river are concerning

I haven’t had too much issue, even with kayaks on top. It just kind of leans over and stays there. But then again I’m usually not driving real fast at that point either

I've ran the last 30,000 miles without one. Drove up and down the million dollar highway at 40-45 without issue. And the occasional nascar evasive maneuver to dodge the texting teen. Decent suspension and thick sidewall tires definitely help though...
