Some stuff is just a gravel road, others have a lot of bigger rocks. Some areas can be pretty steep climbs or descents. I wouldn’t want a street tire on a bike out there.

Pretty much everywhere out there is cool lol

Stillwater pass is one we did in that area. It was fairly tame with some good views.

saints John is a bit south that was pretty cool. A lot of time spent at high elevation on that one.

Old falls road through rmnp is cool if you’ve never done that

No, it would've looked better if I did.
We had gone through a tunnel before this one and @Slashaar was worried about someone else coming through so I just ran out real quick for the shot

    FYSA,

Did a Kansas Rocks trip this weekend for the first time. Took my Tacoma and the wife’s stock Rubicon. She struggled a little bit, but she’s never done any off-roading before so it was a learning experience.

Didn’t do the “Expert” routes—neither vehicle is equipped for that, but the Tacoma did really well (even on climbs I wasn’t sure it would take).

Overall, I highly recommend going if you’re wanting to learn/refine your skillset.

@Mrs2Fang and I as well as several other KC area members have been to KRRP.
Is a good place around here but haven't had a chance in a while due to work as well as personal shit.
Really need to try out the new setups on DP and DB......

Its great, not super far away, and now has a campground. Great weekend wheeling getaway.
