Yup I don’t blame ya man. Meanwhile I’m over waiting for mine to go to the dealer for repairs then gonna part ways with it haha

Ya… I’ve been plagued with the transmission issues and I’ve been driving my dads (actually my old) kia coupe.. it’s left me stranded once already and it’s not shifting right anymore… it goes in tomorrow to get “fixed” then I’m waiting on a si to come in to get rid of this thing…

Tell me about it.. 22k miles and it’s slamming into gear or not shifting while driving… even using the buttons to force it to another gear it won’t until it slams into gear… it left me stranded last week once before work where I went to drive away and it acted like it had 10 neutrals… and wouldn’t move.. so I had to jump on my bike to ride into work… it’s been doing that for a bit now and at first I thought it was because well it’s cold ya? Well no… it started doing it either right after work or I’d get home and let it sit for like 30mins to an hour and it would do it and not move and I’d have to leave it and take my bike… a few are starting to have rebuilds by ford and someone had the same symptoms I was having like 2-3 weeks ago and his is getting rebuilt.. so I took mine in and they told me you will have to wait until the 10th for us to work on it and give you a loaner (since I don’t have another running vehicle atm..) so tomorrow be the day! Psh…

 

There aren't very many to be had around here for one, and dealers are greedy. Especially on something rare like that around here.

 

Very true! It sucks but I can live without it. I have a si coming in but sadly I gotta wait a month or so..

 

At least they circled the problem.

 

Ya tell me about it.. it’s a bummer as well since I really do like the truck but man I’ve seen them get repaired and then fail again outside of warranty and then it’s 6k! To replace I’m just done… I’m going back to a car I trust and that’s a manual I’m so done with autos… when I decide to get another truck it will be awhile down the road and just something to tow with tbh

 

I tried to buy a supra a year ago but there are none to be found.. and the ones that are on a lot they mark up 10-20k+.

I got tired of waiting and bought a boat instead lol

 

Ya they are hard to find and for a good price!
I’ve found a few gr86s and one gr corolla which btw! If you get the chance to drive the gr corolla do it! That was such a fun little car! But couldn’t make a deal on trade in and some mystery 5k kept showing up so I walked away from it.. oh well

 

My brother has a deposit on a gr corolla. Just waiting on it to show up

 

When I was looking I was told by a few that if you ordered it now you will have to wait for the 24 models most likely

 

I assume production has already switched to 24s. He did it sometime this summer. It’ll probably arrive the same time the blizzard or ice storm does

 

Ah most likely they are fun little cars and have a wicked sound to em if I wanted to wait for one I would but eh I’m a Honda person soooo kinda want me another si lol

 

So jelly. My wife’s car is a blast. Tempted to play with it when she’s done with it. Something fun about little cars.
