You know what they say. If it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

Been working on a few things this weekend.

First a new bench it’s 8ftx33” so enough room to work on anything lol

also working on a dog bench for the truck. So anyone with access cabs got ideas on what more to do that would be great. Atm I sanded all edges and painted it to cover the wood. I plan to get fabric that looks like the interior and cover it and put some foam on the top. I’m trying to think of a way to hold it down in the cabin so it doesn’t move around so any ideas would help!

I removed the rear seats for the dog shelf and ried to contour to fit the seats and back panel as best as possible. It has two doors to access the under-seat storage cubbies. It isn't held by anything by gravity. Never got around to painting it, and it's currently covered by a moving blanket

That looks sharp and props for keeping the back part of the seats in place to help with the noise.

Thanks. I added sound insulation to everything except the cab floor. Noisy trucks...

Those rear "seats" are practically useless to anyone above ten years old who has both legs. Removing them freed up a bit more space for the shelf, and I don't intend to repeatedly remove the shelf anyway. When I eventually need the seats, they'll be reinstalled for a few years.

valid point tbh. ill most likely pull em out next weekend and make it a bit shorter. i do like your idea of making it where you can access the cubbies so might copy you on that one lol but mine wont look as fancy as yours haha

I made a half one and kept the right rear seat in what seems like a hundred years ago.

It literally is just sitting in there. I'll eventually take the other seat out and make a whole new one if I still have the motivation.
