Yup, struggled with no credit history for several years when I first came here as a graduate student, but followed a lot of good advice on Fatwallet Finance. Smooth sailing since then.

Too bad you're not still local. We could go do some drafts.

I'd love that. Draft is so great and nobody wants to do it around here.

KC is a great place for nerd stuff. Druid Dice is kind of near Up-Down, I think?

We're gearing up for a Pioneer championship at the store I frequent, so I have MTG on the brain currently.

In the crossroads off Main st.

Also worth noting, if you ever want to play test something, untap.in is a great site that's free. You can build any deck you want and play online with anyone.

I like paper play. I've tried all the different incarnations of online play over the years and it just doesn't do it for me.

EDIT: Plus I have to justify the irresponsible amount of money I have "invested" in cardboard game pieces.

Probably solidly around six at the moment. Two are regular, I will always have a massive stack of books waiting to be read, and the rest come and go seasonally or as interest determines.

So maybe not as bad as it seems when I really think about it.

But as @Juisebocks said, the financial justification of a few of those....

just a couple of things tbh
so found my oooold old man emu lift kit i first had on my grey truck and its still in good shape but it had a lot of surface rust and missing paint from sadly only 25k miles... (ome paint dont hold up at all!) so cleaning them up to repaint them and then put them on the truck. yes they are older but still work so for now it will be better then the blown out oem shocks from 2015 haha.
will need to buy new top hats for em but they will go on sometime next week.
still need a bit more work and wiped down but getting closer.

So is there any 'upgrade' for ball joints or just stick with OEM? I'm looking around for new lowers.

I mean there is TC uniballs but I don't remember if that applies to the lowers or not. They oem one's are pretty tough.

I'm just wanting it to be overbuilt. That way since I do 90% of daily driving, they'll never need replaced!

Also the TC's are a conversion kit for 1st gen iirc. Unless you wanna drop 1k+ for entirely new built lowers. Which I don't.
