Unless it’s a dedicated adventure rig, skip the swing outs. They get in the way of actually doing truck stuff.. unless you have a way to easily take them off

Current preferences are new tech and still a Tacoma, so it's either a 3rd gen or 4th.

I don't need a big truck. At least not in the immediate future.

 

eh id stay 2nd gen but thats me...plus dont really understand the want for a truck to do truck things but then to buy the same truck i currently own that is limited on what it can do but again thats me

you can do you lol i personally dont get it but again that is me. if i was wanting a truck for truck stuff that i dont truly care to much about id get a old 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton truck that really doesnt get used until its needed

I have several lol. One was a dunce volunteer at a festival, hit the driver door of the silver truck with an aluminum pole. $1200 in damage. I got $250 from them. Insurance wouldn't play ball either so it's got paint correction with the wrong shade of silver on it now

 

wtf? thats annoying... my grey truck was scratched to shit lol the red truck thankfully doesnt have many blemishes but it has a few paint chips on the hood and one on the door from me on accident... a dent in the oem bumper thanks to a larger truck bumping it and a scuff on the front plastic bumper from the old owner...

 

See I don't mind minor blemishes from doing truck things. It's the nutsack gouging the paint when he had 30+ft clearance on the other side

I like Toyota Tacomas. Best looking trucks out there. If it was me, I’d get the 1st gen as well and I can have every generation sitting in my driveway.

ya i never cared much on the grey truck since it was my toy. the red truck and the ranger i never wanted anything on them since well i dont wheel no more so i dont want them trashed lol. other people causing damage does make me mad thou.....

correct that is me and i do like Toyotas do i think they are the best? hell no lol best looking? eh thats subjective to the individual on that one since im not a big fan of the 3rd gens and im reallllly not a fan of the 4th gens (and yes ive seen a good amount of them in person and they are just eh?) but would i have a 1st gen tacoma and a few pickups? and a 3rd gen runner oh ya i would
