just a couple of things tbh
Not exactly true we have had multiple kias in our family and they have all been great cars and never had issues with any parts or getting them. My dad has a 2013 Kia forte koup I use to own and he drives it every day to work still. 200k+ miles and it keeps on running without issues.

those are exception not the rule. Kia/Hyundai are similar to the Nissan Altima owner and clientele… I.e. throw away vehicles that get ragged out and if they aren’t getting stolen they are catching on fire or popping motors left and right. The palisade/tellirude and some of their newer designs look good but that’s it.

Good for a business lease (ie company car) that gets swapped out every 2-3 years. At max.

I had a 07 Azera with the 3.8 v6. That was Hyundai's flagship before the genesis of Genesis. I bought it with around 40k miles in 2011, sold it in 2016 with around 160k miles. Other than oil, only changed the alternator once. For what it was it was pretty reliable and comfortable. But I would not touch their cheaper stuff with a 10 foot pole.

every car company has an issue but all vehicles we have had never had major issues and still run to this day... hell a kia rio that was rolled onto its side still runs and sits at my grandmothers place as a car if anyone just needs one for a while the ole thing has been through the ringer and runs like a top. the multiple Sorento's, fortes, and one k5 (sadly got totaled by a jackass in a lifted f250) have all been amazing cars for us.

Sorry I didn't want anyone to think I hate Kia's/Hyundai's.... I do on a professional level and would not purchase one. Now, the Genesis are better (especially certain years).

Two reasons, number B being that they do. Not. Protect their passengers in collisions.

    At all.

In the same wreck where a 2500 HD plowed through stopped traffic, my buddy's 4Runner was annihilated. Crew cabin was fine. He was fine. His two boys were fine.

The Hyundai that also got hit ... Sent the driver to the hospital in a neck and back brace, luckily no one was in the backseat, because if they were.... They would have been jellied.

Question for the Kansas people. Are these running boards factory? My neighbor said they were different than he had seen? I think they are fiberglass? Any idea or thoughts on them?

well of course not. A buddy is going to most likely buy it and swap frames (he owns a body shop). Going to probably make it a truck to park at his off roading place and have a reliable 4x4 to get around when he isn’t using his side by side. I think I’m going to sell the bed cover, running boards, etc since they are not wanted for his 4x4 project.

I drove it from KC to Wichita area. It was interesting. Sad deal is it’s a one owner and he gave me a stack of service records.

At least now you know where to never take your truck since they clearly didn't give a crap about this guy's frame while servicing everything else
