Just part of a Missouri off road club I used to wheel with. I quit wheeling with them cause they're mostly based in St. Louis and very rarely came over to the KC side. Not very many members on the KC side of that club.

Dozens of crashes reported due to ice. I saw a small box truck ran off the road by my work and there was an accident on the bridge just before my house. I personally felt no slickness, but I'm a boss.

They are reporting ice and snow from 8pm tonight to 2pm tomorrow.

/e: News reported 3 killed in the icy crashes so far.

    Yep.

I guess it's pretty slick out in some areas and will be getting pretty bad tonight.

Forgot to bring in my dash cam memory card to get the box truck wreck.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's not bad out now and I don't think it's supposed to start raining again until early morning. Been seeing salt trucks all day.

That bus came in waaaaay too hot. If I were a parent I'd be pretty pissed lol. At my mom's house in Wisconsin the school bus slides into her yard pretty often on icy days

    Yeah, that driver wasn't smart.

The rain is predicted 8pm tonight to 2pm tomorrow. There have been a lot of accidents and 3 deaths reported already. Exercise caution.

lol, exercise caution regardless of your confidence.

Taco, jeep, bus, they all slide. It's more driver skill than vehicle when it comes to ice.

We were in the bus. No problems, even out here in BFE. I again agree with Derrick, all about the driver...

Well yeah, don't go 70 down the highway and ride peoples asses, fly around corners and slam your brakes haha.

Trust me though, Driving a Tacoma with recovery equipment, working heat, full cabin airbags, 4wd, etc is much less scary than driving a front wheel drive, less than 1 ton car without a working driver side airbag and thinning tires lmao. That's all I mean.

They already canceled school for Blue Springs for tomorrow because kids were slipping on the ice walking to school this morning.

Anyways, if you don't feel confident driving in ice then it's really up to you. Don't want to be a danger to yourself and others if you're not well versed in winter weather driving.

you can have all the skill you want but unless you have studded tires i wouldnt try driving on solid ice my road was solid ice last night and had to go in from a different road so i could go in the grass. was just straight ice couldnt grab traction in 4x4
