It would look like a wrinkle finish. I know they can control the amount of texture....

I've Line X'd all my armor so far, new RR bumper coming next month.
I think it'll look badass, I know the one up here does Jeeps regularly.
If it wouldn't add some much weight to mine I'd do the whole thing.....

How much thrashing you gonna do? Don't think Line X is really worth anything unless its getting beat on. Honestly I think it'd look best painted up MGM like the rest of the truck.

Happy Trails brother. Enjoy yourself wherever life takes you. Don't be a stranger, pop in from time to time.

Do you want to have to spend heaps of time cleaning them with a hand brush? Those splatter time liners allow for dirt build up that becomes difficult to clean. Guys that go to car shows and cars-n-coffee stuff love it because washing and cleaning is their thing. If you’re going to wheel it then expect it to have a dirt brown hue to it all the time.

    Why not wrap them?

Yeah, vinyl is viable. @boogie3478 hows your wrap holding up after some trails?

There ya go! Last one is at KC Rocks. Which, btw, a fully stock Off Road can navigate. (Given that you avoid the black trails). The first image is near my property by Ottawa. I found a low-service/maintenance road that gets destroyed by massive John Deeres so it's a blast to drive through.

Nice, you're not the only one with a stock rig, but least you got the experience of some trails. I've yet to go, but the plan is soon!

    Got any modding plans?

So far I have purchased a few skid plates to add to the truck. The main one I wanted was the transfer case skid plate. I noticed that the transfer case is exposed to the point that if you cross over a stump or rock, and get close to high centering, you could potentially hit it. I got mine from RCI offroad.

Other than that, I'm putting on the TRD Pro (Heritage style) grill on soon. I'll probably post pics when that happens.

I really want to get rock sliders as well. But they're quite expensive, so I may try to fabricate them myself.

In here from the cross link in the other thread. Metro here too. I see a lot of Tacomas, probably a few of you guys judging by the armor and racks.

RCI Sliders were 675 shipped from Truck Brigade. I made some for my old Xterra, but used 2" square tube on everything (1/4 plate for mounting) because I didn't have a bender or notcher. I doubt they were as strong as the RCI. They held up to minor abuse, but I didn't want to chance it on my truck.
