I really wanted light weight and CBI is the only option I liked that was aluminum. I;ve already drilled into the bumper to run the disconnect for the air hose so I don't have to pop the hood for air lol

 

I debated aluminum, but decided against it. I am really happy with my front though.....

 

Did you by any chance have a small write up or photos from the install?

 

I followed this guide (see attached)

One thing they don't mention is that there are spacers that you need to use on the very bottom to snug the bumper up. Kenny at CBI said it is optional though.

Cutting is the tricky part.

 

Exactly. You don't really "own" your new truck till you hack the front bumper in half......

Speaking of cutting.. guess I've decided on this kinda route.

New sliders and tires and various other mods you cant see.

 

you might not like these but i do so ya lol

sadly big o tire scratched them up and gouged them at the tire balancer and now i have to deal with them on this crap because of a carless employee.. and yes i know i will scratch them on the trails which i wont care about but they didnt even make it to the truck and he messed up 3 of them...

 

ya so im trying to see what they will do since the dude didnt even notice he did it and they wanted to repair them and i told them no they are brand new so im gonna talk to the district manager and see what he can do
