Do want, but not in the cards as far as $$$. I've had that on my wish list for a while.

Quick question, is it water tight inside or have you had water in it?

What a day. Scraped my fender flare against an F150 at work. Ugh. Luckily I only transferred a little paint from me to him. Rubbed off most of it with my thumb.
Wow, how fortuitous, the guy walked up to me as I typed this!

I’d say it’s water tight? I only kept tie downs, bottle jack and jumper cables in there so i never really saw any problem. Went through years of car washes and no water and park outside for work. I sprayed it with some rust preventer and frame spray paint about 2 months ago again to help seal it up.

It’s exposed to the elements under the fender so there’s no way to prevent some surface rust. Unless you WD40 every few months or maybe some undercoating.

Good to know. I'll sleep on it. Don't feel bad if you get a bite and sell it before then.

Also they’re super handy if you bike ride, hike, or I always take my kiddos to Heritage Park. I’d leave all my valuables in the Tuffy Box and just take the key.

No biggie. Figured y’all on TW would know what it was better than posting to CL or FB Market place.
I also have a black slim line tool box, Kobalt. But not sure I wanna sell it yet. It was hard to find for some reason. Similar to a UWS

I have a toolbox I picked up for $20 only to find out the measurement the guy told me over the phone was the full width, not the bed width. So mine sits kinda wedged between the wheel arches and is bolted into the rail.
    :notsure: Works.

Bamf stuff is overbuilt and tough as nails. Went with RCI since I've got their sliders and rear.bumper, plus the mid skid has some sick gusset reinforcements on it.

Sounds expensive. Why ruin a good truck?

    Food for thought

Why not just get a truck that's 2wd? Ripping the 4x4 out ruins resale (esp if they check the VIN) plus it's a ton of work.

I'm glad you're taking it this direction tbh; seems a better fit for you and your truck. It's just like college; not everyone likes the first major you pick, it's costly to switch up, but it's better than ending up with a career that you loathe. You're already neck deep in mods, so might as well keep on truckin' :burnrubber:
