i bet the Ranger used prices are sky high too? haven't really searched out the prices for a Ranger on the market out there currently but the nada table i look at has them in 2nd under the old Tacomas for valuation

I had a '92 2wd Ranger with a manual trans that was an absolute workhorse. Parts were cheap, and available. I loved that truck for what it was. I sold it for pennies when I moved to HI... I should never have let it go. Also had a 94 for a month. Didn't like it as much though. I am just now realizing how many vehicles I have had over the course of my relatively short life...

Not too bad of a count there. I'm on number 10 at year 34. I think I might have had a problem in the past that I solved by buying a house lol. This little truck needs to be it for a while.

i've had 5 in the past 30yrs, but just 4 if you ex out the trade in pickup from having just 2 years to upgrade, and the rest driven into the scrap heap lol, all Toyotas 2 70s and 2 90s

i must keep my Tacoma in tipTop to make it to approx 4 funerals in rural Kansas and Missouri over the next 20yrs, have already traveled for 3 in the past 7 years.
every aunt and uncle left are now all over 80yrs old this coming summer

You have to count all of them. I didn't run every vehicle into the ground that I owned, only about half...

I never thought about planning for funerals like that. My family is significantly smaller and younger I guess.

one of my cousins in Salina ODd on some drug, she was in her late 40s and my oldest uncle on a farm near Seneca KS had to have a closed casket funeral because his other brother (other uncle) found him one day after nobody had heard from him for about a week. they had to put his dogs down which i assume is the reason for the closed casket :(

Yikes. Let's hope any future funerals are less, um, dark. If that can be a thing.

yes, he was sort of a recluse all by himself on his farm and only occasionally went into town
just him, his tractors and his big dogs

I'm at eight in almost 17 years, 11 if we're counting motorcycles.

Four years ago I had six vehicles at one time (three bikes), but a brief fling with a '65 Buick Wildcat project was a bit of a sobering moment. Pared it down to just the Jeep and Taco since.

Plus there's a work truck I keep at my house, but I don't own that one.
