is that the best route to go for a moderate case of what looks to be humidity/condensation corrosion with a little bit of salt probably found its way in there?
i need to check a few other key areas on the truck before making that determination

I think that looks good for how old your truck is. Since it doesn't seem like there is any meaningful flaking or structural damage, a rust converter or encapsulator might serve you well. There are products for both processes that can be done without professional assistance. I don't know how much more life you'd like to get out of your current truck, but you've definitely got a decent looking frame for it's age.

some have said i am just breaking in the engine at 139k, TW is reporting the 3.4 making it well past 300k miles with no major issues if properly maintained
i suppose it all depends on my knees in operating the clutch and if repairs/upkeep start to nickel and dime me too much such as that old Corolla has started to do :(
there could always be a collision on the freeway with the crazy drivers these days not obeying speed limits in high traffic areas

Started getting the glass mocked up, but no LT yet. I found out disappointing news about my coilovers...fox's lead time is 6 months now, so going king instead.

It faces in toward the truck, has their company logo in the end.

I just couldn't stand the 3rd gen abominations. Had a Dobinsons but traded it off. Was gonna make our own but my fabricators have been extra busy and one moved jobs.....
    So, Sloop it was....

It also has terrible stencils for cutting into your fender to make it work.
