New wheels and tires, hell of a difference in appearance, love how it rides now also.

I have a set of 2020 trd off roads Front strut/shocks and rear shocks with like 50 miles on them. Have a 1.5 inch add a leaf coming in also. Super excited to see how it looks, 1-2 inch lift from these 3rd gens suspension from my current factory base suspension should be an awesome improvement all around.

hell even if no lift from it Its about due for a change of suspension.

If anyone is interested looking to part with my stock steels and tires With like 400 miles on them.

Man I’ve been, like I’m pretty sure you warned me about (with hiding my wallet) responding to so many things I forgot to get back to you after the rear cubbies.

Absolutely no sweat at all. Had taken them to the meet thinking I'd see ya!

I'm all for spares if mine ever break, but never pass up a sale.

Friend of the family has an upholstery shop, plan on redoing both seats, or at minimum adding some padding myself. Second gen seats blow.

There’s very little rust on the frame, just surface barely exposed but going to get ahead of it this fall, wire wheel the rust off, put some converter on it and paint it down with POR-15. Will remove the bed for it, doubtful I’ll go as far as removing the cab though. This was garaged most it’s life from the one owner and still is now.

looking eventually for a low mileage donor v6 long run. Going to do a 4.0 swap....unless we get real risky and go for a 4.6 or 5.7 which my mechanic father in law is really pushing me for. Told him his shop so if he wants to tackle it with me I wouldn’t object.

This 2.7 is just 91,000 Miles so not in any rush and will most likely do a 4.0 swap off a low mileage donor 2012-15, would like to convert to a manual with that. Couldn’t pass this auto up in the shape it’s in and the price though after looking for a good shape single cab forever. We’ve worked out most all the details on that 4.0 swap already so it wouldn’t be too bad. Need to find a good donor in the next few years.

adding back up cam this weekend. Hopefully my suspension comes in Friday, tracking keeps bouncing between Monday and Friday.

trying to locate some rear cubbies from a double cab to put behind my seats for some extra storage. Might just build some out of ply and carpet over them at this point though. Looked everywhere and the 2 or three on sale here haven’t responded in a week.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Rock and roll in that single cab dude ! look solid and looking forward to seeing how your build goes. Also you're going to enjoy that suspension upgrade. it's nothing to ride home about but going from your single cab to those 3rd gen off-road shocks will make a difference for you.

Ya I’d like it just for the sound ha not to mention the power in a little 3800lb truck.

I couldn’t do that though myself, maybe but probably take me waaay too long to get it right, 4.0 I could manage and just drive my old d150 full time for awhile. 4.0 probably be a weekend swap with some help. That’s a ways down the line though I think.

Keep us posted on how the suspension is. I've been debating going 3rd gen suspension instead of bilstein 5100 for the time being. Are you running 265s? Tires almost look bigger than they are.

they are 265s, slight rub if reversing with wheels fully turned on the front little mudflaps under the bumper. If I removed those there wouldn’t be a rub. Besides that no rub, should be fixed by the 3rd gen swap. I’ll post befores and after a along with any details. Should be a fun swap

I’d agree, but since all I was looking for was stock feel and a small 1-1.5 lift and I got shocks, struts front coils with 50 miles on them and add a leafs for 250 total all shipped and done I can’t complain.

5100s are adjustable and pretty highly acclaimed. Just didn’t personally feel I needed them for the price or what is 95% daily driving.
