Before going for a Tacoma, I was strongly considering hunting for a turbo/manual Baja. For reasons, that did not pan out.

A Subie baja with a 5spd.... That's the car right there. Does everything, but isnt excellent at any of them

Spent a long time looking for one that didn't cost $20k+ used....

 

A truck with a 6 speed is way more fun. If you don’t weigh yourself down with unnecessary crap, it’s fairly quick. Plus you can drive over everything and not have to worry.

 

I don't have many complaints about my subie. Been a decent shit box for the past 2 years. This pic is from the day I got it. Took the roof basket and lights off
