Swapped my 17 sport wheels out for 16 OR wheels.... Then half the tires I was looking at stopped being made with a 16 inch wheel in mind

But since I'm not going to 35s anytime in the near future, Ill stick with my 16s.

Although when I go to 33s..... Might just do an entire tire/wheel combo....

Don't have em yet. Guy I was buying them from couldn't get em off his truck.... Lol

I'll get them if I need them. Not a priority right now

I never had problems with my spacers. It sucked when my drums locked up in the middle of the Rocky Mountains, in the freezing cold at 4am. Just more shit in the way if you have to work on your truck.

Not to mention the more tire poke you have, the more shit you throw up on your truck

Yeah, its a balance. On the one hand, power and gas milage, on the other, that bigger, blacker ... tire.

Yeah, I don't think 35's are worth it on these things, just too much extra stress.

    Meanwhile, I'm debating between a 31 and a 32.

Yeah, it really can put a damper on the range, and the wear. bleh. 285 is as big as I would want unless it was a dedicated offroad rig, at which point it would be 42's

ya only way to get better mpg is to regear which i should do but its not a priority for me. and a standard 285/70/17 would be fine but its shorter then what i got and it would bug me lol

I dig my 32s, currently running 265/75r16s. Jeep is presently about to get 235/85r16, and depending on how I like them I'll consider the skinnier tire next go around with the Tacoma.

Yeah that would help, but its expensive in its own right. Mine has factory 4.30's so i'm actually going taller so it isn't so desperate sounding on the highway

Some of the other first gen guys are running 255/85/16 which I would be all over if I did more offroad.
