just go to flat nasty. they are open 365 days a year with camping and its a nice park

 

4 hour drive vs 1. But i guess if everyone's willing and able. That may require more planning.

 

I looked at it also...its just south of the area the rally is. Seems I keep gravitating to that area....

If we do go there, we definitely need to Convoy out. Someone should do some fly-by's on camera. I want to start putting together some videos. Maybe I'll start a Youtube channel for the club and we will use the ad-revenue for funding food etc. Thoughts @Sociopenguin ?
If I end up going to FJ Summit next year I want to get a lot of photos and video.

You might touch a few tree branches even on the main loop... Most of my video was main loop. Where's Xavier with the Machete when you need him?

Interior all LED. I got my license plate lights LED as well. Will turn reverse lights into LED tomorrow.

 

KS Rocks does not normally allow camping as there is no shower house and a board member must stay overnight to control rowdiness for neighbors. SMORR is a little closer than Flat Nasty but only open weekends. Better maintained trails and campground amenities but prefer the people at Flat Nasty.

EDIT: There are campgrounds close to KS Rocks in Ft Scott I believe.

 

Yeah, that's why I messaged them. We definitely have some options to weigh on.
