    I do. Dunno how it could leak. You remove the cap on the canister and screw it in. Then screw in the other part that opens the valve to the canister.

    It makes dealing with the canister filters way less of a PITA

    Try not doing that. It will force a bubble up the drain hole instead of just ejecting the oil and allowing air in through the top. I'd hope that it would slow the flow down significantly enough that once it starts slow glugging like a 2 liter bottle, you can pop the fill cap and let it drain faster.

    Yeah, I was skeptical about those stories because that style of connection is an industry standard. We've never had a threaded or quick connection like this fail at work, so I'll probably put one in on my next oil change.
