I had a 99 GA with no power steering, warped dash, broken slider on the sunroof slide, headlight that wouldn't stay in, bumper held on with speaker wire, the list goes on. Was a pile! Sold for $600. I rebuilt it in my buddies yard at 150k. Sold it with 170k.

What Style / Brand of Tire is everyone running for the KC environment? I want to start putting tires on my radar. I was looking at the Goodyear AT/3 since most of driving is hwy and it appears they do well with rain and snow.

Good with the snow and little ice we get here? And when I do get to the woods I am sure they would work?

Nitto Terra Grapplers are good, and Falken Wildpeaks are good bang for the buck also....

Jeez, I had a plethora of problems with mine too. Ended up trading for the Taco.

One that drove me crazy until I finally got it replaced was the turn signal switch. Every time I had my lights on and used the signal to go right, the brights came on. Guess some wires got fuxt and I ended up replacing the whole switch. Greatest day of my life right after, lol.

Catalytic converter ended up having issues and I tried to replace several things to avoid replacing the cat. Code kept coming back and car would stutter when I tried to accelerate on the highway. Got fed up and didn't want to spend more money on this car.

    Love the STi.

Speaking of the winter tires, I gotta get me a set too. What's a good cheap set go for in price anyway?

Think my course of action would be.. tires > winch > lift > tires/rims > rear locker (will be awhile before I can accomplish everything)

I was thinking Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws but I saw a set of Cooper discoverer s/t maxx's on a tundra I parked next to at work today and they looked pretty nice too. I've heard a lot of chatter on the forums for them as well. Really depends on weight and price for me now. I want something with the aggressive side sipes for grabbing rocks and not chewing up the sidewalls.

Edit: just looked up the price on those. Yikes. Almost $75 more per tire over the Falkens.
